Abie's DooWop Taxi
Tommy R's "Malt Shoppe Of Memories" Real

Tommy R Music has always been near and dear to Tommy from the time he was a lad in grade school. Tommy learned to play the guitar at a young age and could sing songs by Paul Anka, Elvis, Jay and The Americans, The Duprees, Roy Orbinson and many others.

Tommy had dreams, but the real world got in the way. Military service in 1969 followed by marriage in 1970 put Tommy's dreams on hold!

A few years back Tommy's dreams would come to light when his second wife Patty introduced him to "Dave The Rave", a DJ on a local station WPDQ. Things started to happen. Tommy was given the opportunity to become a DJ on The Internet. He was a natural.

Through his internet gigs he has met some of his idols, Stu Weiss Host of The Pop Shope, Hattie aka Hot Wax Hattie, "Dave The Rave", of Relics and Rarities, Johnny Dark of WJRZ , Jimmy Jay of The Rewind Show. Vito Picone of The Elegants, Herb Cox of The Cleftones, Clay Cole of The Clay Cole Show, Mr. Don K. Reed of WCB, and many others.

The biggest moment of Tommy's life was when he met Tom Bialaglow, one of the original DUPREES. Tommy and Tom became close friends. Tom together with DJ legend Don K. Reed Co-hosted one of Tommy's shows. Tommy's dreams were now coming true! God bless them all! We welcome Tommy to Abie's DooWop Taxi!
